SIHH 2018: Lange 1815 Chronograph, Rose Gold, black dial.
This year, Lange offers the 1815 Chronograph with two dials, a silver and a black one.
I decided to take pictures of the black one, as I think it is a really superb and powerful combination, contrast, with the pink gold case.
The case is superbly proportioned, with a 39, 5 mm diameter and 11 mm high.
With the black dial, the 1815 Chronograph has a vintage look which is really appealing, even for the non colored gold guy I am.

The big asset of this watch? Its movement, for sure, the Cal L 951.5, offering a power reserve of 60 hours. It beats at 18, 000 vibrations per hour. It is made of 306 parts, 34 jewels, and the legendary gold chatons ( 4 ).
Technically good, but aesthetically superb.

Ok, I am pesting against these 2 counters which are aligned under the 3 / 9 line, which always makes me think that the big date is missing... But I can't deny it is a strong object of desire.
Best,
Nicolas
