I really love this piece. It combines my love of FPJ with my need for a pragmatic watch when I’m with my two very young kids. One thing I think that’s actually very underrated is the lume, which is critical when you tend to an infant who wakes up crying in the middle of the night. It’s fun to look at because it’s very Journe, but it’s functional as well for my current role/stage in life!

Another conundrum: why only 30 meters water resistance? At 100 I’d own this in a second. A New York minute. A flash. Stop.
It’s a great question.
My understanding from FPJ sales reps is that it was only ever meant for surface-level water activity, so 30m will cut it. However, more worrisome for me is that the crown doesn’t screw down. I would be fine with 3m let alone 30m if the crown screwed down ...
