Blancpain repair
Fellow purists,
It’s often that I read horror stories about how time pieces are damaged during service or how repairs are extremely expensive and takes months.
Well, here is my experience with Blancpain:
I had accidentally dropped my Fifty Phantom Babyscape on a concrete floor. It landed on one of the pushers and the engine was severally damaged.
I brought it to the local AD where I had bought the watch: Rivoli in Dubai.
The watch was dispatched to Switzerland and within days I received a list of required repairs and optional like polishing yes or no etc.
The total fee including all options was approx USD 1,200
I agreed to all optionals as well. Less than 6 weeks later I could collect my time piece again from the local AD
It looked perfect.
So in short: outstanding service delivery by our local AD, great service by Blancpain and I’m wearing it proudly again
