No date! A power range indicator and a small second dial at 6 is a perfect Ulysse Nardin. If the watch is not bigger than 41mm, it is great. 38, 39, 40mm would be a go for me to get the watch in my collection.

Torpilleurs have a tiny little window to show the date - if you want to see it. I totally agree on the power reserve and seconds hand subdials. So-o-o-o UN.
