Land Rover Defender 110 year 2012

Hi guys,


Anyone with experience owning a no longer manufactured Defender series 110 with the Puma engine or similar ones? Is this worth a punt? I am keen on getting an icon just for fun, I don't mind making it a project car. Yes I know it's unreliable and has plenty of maintenance issues but to me, it looks fantastic and does its work reasonably well.

Anything to watch out for? Thanks in advance.

Since my childhood, this is a vehicle which makes me dream. What a character! After, I don't know much about reliability issues. I read here and there that there are some, but I think it is worth it!

I love it and would love to own one. Its a drivers car. It makes you enjoy life as it forces you to drive slow!

I would definitelly go for it. I never owned one, reason being is that i like the land cruieser "bush taxi" even more 😋

And the comfort is relative, too. But damn, it is so good to be Daktari! :)

Which is something I need to get used to. Turning radius is big and clutch is heavy. Vehicle has some issues but mainly intact and original. I will update when the owner decides on a price. Cheers and have a great day!
