I’m still trying to understand Montblanc

I still know them as a writing company - and I had no idea that Minerva was acquired by them.

I remember that you had mentioned that Montblanc produces one of the finest Chronographs - and that must be because of the technical capabilities that come with the Minerva acquisition.

I have a difficult time navigating Montblanc’s watch offerings. They have so many watches at various levels - it’s hard to find the really great stuff in their lineups.

Also - when I peek at used market prices, the Montblanc watches seem to have a difficult time retaining value. I’m surprised given their quality level. Chopard also seems to have a difficult time holding value which also surprises me as they (in my opinion) produce some of the most impressive watches that I have seen.

Anyway....thought I would tune in and share.

Cheers!
