LePhare Minute Repeater

I have owned this pocketwatch for 35 years. The reason that I am parting with it is that the focus of my collecting has changed. This watch deserves a home with someone inclined to better enjoy it than keeping it locked up & hidden away as I have.

The watch is near mint condition, I would rate it 88. it's dial is absolutely flawless, original & blemish-free. The casing is 18k yellow gold & the movement is bright & flawless.  This watch is functional art & upon my decision to part with it I felt responsible to have the movement completely disassembled, cleaned & lubricated by a world class watchmaker, -I waited over 7 months for its return & the servicing cost well over $2000 (it's warranteed).

The repeater chimes are beautiful, crisp, clear, clean and precisely accurate. Time-keeping is dead-on and all of the complications including the chronometer, moon phases & calendar all function properly. I am a long established & respected business owner & watch collector in LA (not a dealer). You will likely never again see such example of a LePhare.
