Dimensions and movement are pretty similar to the omiwatari but the dark blue and gold look pretty good on this one

I was about to pull the trigger but was surprised to learn that a smaller size may also be released soon. Can anyone vouch for the same as I really wouldn’t want to buy and learn that a small version is out too? Thanks

I'm not sure what your question is... do you prefer the smaller watch?

Just a general piece of advice on GS that you can take to the bank -- they will continue to release watches that its customers want but when it suits them. And they will continue to release special editions as they see the need. There's virtually no such ...

so much for your detailed and informative reply. Your right spring drive is rarely under 40mm (maybe 38.5mm tops). Given their history, I presume a white variant will be launched some day and which I will await as I believe this would be the most versatil... 

Smaller Spring Drives are manually wound; here's one with a white dial

…the SBGY007 today in Manhattan. Photos don’t capture the dial color…a stunner. At $8,300 dare I say it might be a bargain. Now on my radar for a gift for my son.
