Gentlemen after problems with PM system
verdict by our third judge just arrived on personal email
Quote:
"What a fantastic week - over 500 posts in Wristscan!
I had a big challenge to choose the winner. First of all, I tried to close my eyes from Patek Philippe because the only time I have been judging before, somebody commented "naturally Patek".
Secondly, I do not have much artistic eye. I simply tried to find a wrist scan shot which would show the characteristics of the watch in the very best possible way.
When I started to study the pictures, I became wordless after seeing Baron's "As black as black can get". The picture illustrates in the very best possible way one of the most important characteristics of Joe's 5370P: the depth of the enamel dial and the beautiful applied Breguet numbers.. But 5370P is a Patek...
I continued monitoring the wrist shots and among those were many great shots but nothing which could beat Baron's "As black as black can get". I started to be desperate when approaching the end of the wrist shots. But then:
A Patek Philippe again! "Voila" by dom007. What a great picture of a great watch, 5950A. How did this happen? Naturally, in both cases the watches are great, fantastic Grand Complications of Patek Philippe. But also both photos are great and they show the best characteristics of the watches.
Baron's picture is perhaps more artistic but the picture of dom007 is somehow clearer and showing the entire beauty of 5950A.
Verdict: Both pictures are great and the only reasonable solution is to share the first price between Baron and dom007.
Gentlemen, it was a great honour to be appointed as a judge and I am very sorry that the pictures I considered the best ones, were of wrists carrying a Patek Split-Second chronograph.

Thanks for inviting me. I have to hurry in order to participate the 3rd birthday of my daughter.
