Not on account of the subject (overkill), composition (unexceptional), or aesthetics (ordinary). There was, though, an element of mystery as Matthew weaved his tale; one could imagine him taking off on a rain-drenched Tokyo night astride a Kawasaki, fading into the gloom while taking a hairpin turn with the precious watch on his wrist.
