There was, as usual, many very appealing shots I stopped on and, as usual again, I had to pick only a few.
So, after thanking everyone for their participation and mentioning KMII’s Seiko, Nicolas’ Villeret and Nilo’s first Speedmaster pictures, I selected this last trio of wrist shots:
3. Seeks’ Speedmaster on the golf course: very nice contrast and very well balanced colours. The background shows it is completely under the sun but the fact the watch remains in the shadow brings the perfect light quantity for such a sporty and elegant shot.
2. Andy’s “paradise” submariner’s shot: what made me choose this one is the peaceful and sunny feeling of this B&W picture. So good feeling...
1. And finally the picture I liked most was hs’s triple calendar JLC: the colours, matching even in the background, the ambience, the blue shirt contrasting with the red colours... could be a snapshot from the 1950’s on the wrist of a dandy or a high society fellow. I loved it.
Congratulations to the winner(s) and all the participants, it is nice for everyone to be able to see watches we see in official pictures usually in their “real life” background.
A great way to discover and re-discover watches.
Cheers,
Mark
