Avia from 1940's/50's
Rolex ref: 1936 from 1935/36
The Avia was a parental gift when I was aged 14. I wore it until the RAF lent me an Omega 53 pilot watch for nearly 10 years. The Avia was my third watch, the first was a Newmark at age 7 and the second was an Ingersoll a few years later, neither of which survived my childhood! The Avia still works well and has a pretty Swiss, unnamed 15J movement.
The Rolex was bought a few years ago as an addition to my small collection. Currently away being serviced.
Best
Clive
