That watch is the Vintage 94 which was released 1 year before the re-edition of the Vintage 45, yes you guessed it in 1994

True, biggest passion is for the 30's and 40's. The birth and golden era of modern wrist watches ;-) Then the 50's. Then the 60's, then the 80's, then come the 'moderns' to finish with the 70's. You know it goes quickly up, even with the moderns, when you... 

Or the early 30 CH as well... Add a Longines " Greenlander ," ( 40's as well ) some old Minervas GP UN Chronos from the 40's... The Fifties were a great decade. The 60's sound the end of the fun... Ok, there are some good exceptions in the 70's, but the Q...

IWC did this right.

This is such a satisfying watch. I understand that many would prefer it without the date window, but I find it makes it so practical. I wear it all the time, especially at work and I enjoy it so much more because it\'s everything I need in a watch! Plus, ... 

But no harm, and as you said, it is practical. And the rest really is "Portugieser" all the way. Much more-so than the automatics.

Now you need Attila to do something about the strap
