Vacheron Constantin duo

Dear Purists

This week marked a historical milestone in the development of the collection we are slowly building.

Earlier I wasn't very familiar with the Vacheron brand but after reading all reviews on the new Overseas we became interested in the steel small model as I wanted to buy it as a gift for my wife. So we visited our local Vacheron boutique in Dubai.

I am happy to share with you that I had never ever, not in any boutique of any brand in any city I ever visited before, had such an incredible watch experience. Overwhelming product knowledge, all the time needed was made available, an atmosphere that changed the whole experience from "just looking and perhaps buying a particular time piece" it quickly changed into something best described as "a warm welcome into the Vacheron family regardless if you're just interested or actually obtain a watch"

Absolutely perfect.

This initial visit resulted in 3 more afternoon teas in the boutique and every subsequent visit was as perfect as the first one.

So finally we had to return to the boutique one more time, no longer to look but now to collect the watch.

Or I stand corrected, not to collect the watch, but to collect the watches (plural)
And that's because we didn't end buying the Overseas Small Steel. And we didn't end up buying one timepiece

Instead we obtained a Overseas Small Gold for my wife plus we purchased a Harmony Calendar for myself.

Finally I'm happy to share with you why we were looking for a timepiece in the first place. We are celebrating our 34 wedding anniversary and that's best celebrated with two beautiful watches from one of the most respected brands in the worlds one and only boutique Vacheron Constantin Dubai Mall
