Any triple or perpetual calendar can be a pain to set

If you wear it all the time carefully, then you have no problems. If you rarely wear it, you will probably have to have the instructions on hand for the first 10 times (or every time) you set it. And probably 10 minutes of fidding about getting everything set correctly. Not to mention you can't do it during that hour range they mention (when the change mechanisms are in mid-shuffle).
I have gotten used to keeping a box of toothpicks near my watch cabinet to deal with little pushers for days, dates and moons. And the more moving hands stacked up the trickier it can be if you drop it, or if it needs service. Triple dates like the VC with small seconds at 6 are better because they only have 3 hands on the center arbor.
In this Record triple date watch, the day of the month hand started scraping against the top of the chrono hand at about 15 minutes before the hour. We couldn't push the chrono hand down and couldn't raise the other 4 hands up. A right nuisance!
