My wife’s birthday present

Apr 14, 2018,07:34 AM

While her Parmigiani (last year’s b-day gift) and PP 24 are nice, they are but quartz watches.
This UN Jade is my wife’s first mechanical timepiece!

She loves it! The colour scheme is beautiful with the enamel grand feu dial. The function selector is a thoughtful feature on a ladies’ watch since it saves one from ruining her nails when pulling out the crown.
The only thing that she finds confusing right now is that the hands tend to disappear when overlapping the 9 or 5 due to the decorative curve on the dial.

Overall, she’s very happy with her new toy. I’m just happy that she is happy...

...it also greases the wheel a bit for me as I’ve got an AP coming soon...(heheheh...)

I think the dial color is sensational.

I really like it.

Good man 👍🏻. My wife always wanted a white strap watch too, good option.

Ahah...that's the trend these days

psychotic, Good choice on her part and good ploy on yours. It proves the recent trend at the high end of ladies watches for more mechanical movements again. See recent Interview with a lady co-president of Chopard who confirmed the trend. Although gem-set...

My wife only tolerates a mechanical watch on her wrist ....

.... however, shows some difficulties understanding the need to re-adjust the time every now and then (After five weeks: "Look, the watch is completely off, by .... three, wait .... two minutes!"). Marcus
