but what do the words Email and Grand Feu at the bottom of the dial refer to?

I think Email means Enamel and "Grand Feu" is a technique used by UN for the enamelling

Beautiful watch but I should prefer the date if was white/silver digits on a blue background wheel. Or else who needs the date? Best Clive
