Sorry for not responding to every reply personally but it’s a bit much to handle, emotionally. I assure everyone I carefully read each and every post. I didn’t expect all this support but I shouldn’t be surprised, this has always been a great group.
Latest update after yesterday’s chemo, my doctor is extremely pleased so far. Latest biopsy final results show no signs of leukemia and chromosomes that originally showed as compromised are now all showing as back to normal, no signs of original damage, although I won’t pretend to understand that. I know there’s a long road ahead and we’re taking everything one day at a time. Bone marrow transplant will come eventually and the transplant team has explained the process (in great detail at my request).
