But of the 3 I posted, the one I'm most likely to wear is the black dial SBGV207. Despite, or perhaps because, it being quartz, there is something about how perfectly it does its job that I find attractive.

Seiko quartz are pretty great too! Enjoy yours!

An add question, but my parents has very similar trays when I was a child and I had totally forgotten about them until your post! Do you know anything about it?

It's from a set of three nesting trays. This is the smallest.

I purchased them at the 1984 Louisiana World Exposition, as a gift for my mother. China was a participant and had them for sale in their exhibit space.
