And this is a good example of it..
I've been wanting to get a 1675 GMT to add to my small collection, and I've been hesitant and picky on some pieces offered to me in the past, as I want a really special one.
And finally this happened...
A Rolex 1675 GMT Gilt Dial from 1964, retailed by Serpico Y Laino, with a really glossy black dial and nice warm patina on the lumes..
Here's a nice close up to see the contrast between the gilt prints and hands and the silver Serpico Y Laino print..
And a nice macro shot, I got from the previous owner for the engraving on the caseback "S&L ACERO"

But let me congratulate with you also publicly. This is an astonishing specimen, wonderful conditions. The dial is truly a black mirror, and the retailer name gives the watch something particular among the rarity. Not easy to find the right engraved caseb...

I can see the dial is in great shape.
In the same situation as well, still patiently waiting for the gilt. Have let a few passed due to condition and I trust patience will reward in the end. Enjoy yours!
