Has the Rolex Dayjust become too common though it has the most sales volume.?

I noticed that members here post very few photos of a new datejust.  The datejust is a classic and now the new one with 41mm has the new caliber 3235 inside.  I just wonder why?

with 41 mm is too large for a Date Just in my book.

I like the new DJ 41 (on a jubilee)

It's funny you mention that (and let's throw in a DD). When I see pics of watch aficionado gatherings or watch related events...very seldom do I see anyone with a DJ or DD on the wrist. They are fantastic watches for what they are but I guess they don't r...

It still remains a very aspirational model for many non-watch enthusiasts.

For me, no. It has long passed into the zone of too generic, too copied, and generally too flashy. The 41mm version is inelegant, with its broad, chunky bezel, a criticism I would levy at many of Rolex's new offerings--too flat and angular; not curvaceous...

If I didn't get into watches as a hobby, the Datejust will be the ultimate watch.

Preferably in blue and with a jubilee bracelet. It's the quintessential "can do everything with it" watch.
