My submariner service charge is equivalent to 292 pounds. Not a bad deal comparatively but I do think most things in the UK are more expensive. Good to hear the date change is so precise - sometimes I'm kinda obsessed about this smile

Just back from service - how it was missed!!!

Not quite in league of prestige as the recent posts on 16660, or the recent Comex made me even more aware how much I was missing my usual daily companion!! The service took 7 weeks in the UK, and I received the phonecall it was ready on Christmas eve, but...

My submariner is currently at the Rolex service center in Seoul. Will take 3 weeks which is what I consider reasonable. Why did yours take 7 weeks? How much was it BTW in Sterling pounds? (I heard the charges are standardized around the world). I saw that...

It actually first needed the service over a year ago (gaining time), but the estimate then was 13 weeks, so I figured I could live with 5mins fast a week. Then I enquired in november at the dealer in Aberdeen, and they said 8weeks. Apparently the service ...

... I can well understand you, because on 2010 I left my own 1680 (1977 vintage) in my local Official Service, and it took two months to be back. The compensation came with the very low charge for the complete movement service, and change of crown tube an...
