Rolex

Only for demonstration and not for sale, yet. Never heard Rolex is also doing that. Lange and others do demonstration pieces, but Rolex? New case is noticeably bigger, "but" still a little square looking. Another noticeable point is the new bracelet that ...  

The case looks pretty big and the shape not really different from the "maxi" case. I am looking forward to see one in person as I am interested in the white gold version.

I think the wg blue bezel will look superb! The all blue was too blue, but with a black dial ... ...

I have to give it to Rolex for keeping the sub looking like a sub. It’s hard to tell which is which at this point once they went ceramic. 41mm? Can’t really see it

I will pass on the black bezel 41 mm as I own a SD 43 mm, that suits my idea of a bigger Rolex still very well.

I kinda let the brand go. I used to own every single modern Rolex from hulk to batman to sub and daytona. They honestly bored me after a while and having more than one from the sports range was like owning the same car in a different color! Is sold them a... 

However, when I saw it on other's wrists the maxi case looked good.

Why make it perfect now when they can make it perfect 4 or 5 generations from now?

in my town, there are always "demonstrations pieces" displayed. Bucherer followed the trend. I find it obnoxious and it just screams "run to other dealer".

so you must find it elsewhere, or be put on a waiting list. For the freshly released watches a waiting list is unavoidable, but it is already happening not only with the "hot models" but also with precious metal/gemstones dial ones.

Solving the waiting list issue by changing its name! Did you go for the date or non-date version?

The blue bezel wg could be also nice but out of my budget.

Love or hate (or neither) the maxi case, recall that it was a way for Rolex to weather the 42 mm trend without actually increasing their diameter. I’m not a big fan—I only have one watch from the era—but I do give them credit for keeping the look current ... 

It seems like they’ve used the sea dweller size increase to address that end of the market, but with comparatively less water resistance, the sub can be thinner and a better daily watch. They’re obviously very calculated in their incremental design change... 

The proportions of the case, dial, bezel, bracelet, hands and loom plots look good.
