Duh and no

Hi Georges, thanks for the suggestions, which are obvious and I should have asked at the time, but no I did not see any pix of the movement, crown or case. I can take some added pix if I go back to see it again though. I should probably also get a serial number as well, yes? I assume I can check the legitimacy that way as well, though I understand it would not tell me if non-Rolex parts have been used in the movement.
Re: servicing invoices, the seller said he has had his local watchmaker clean/service it but only basic cleaning type servicing, no parts replacement that I am aware of. I know the local Rolex authorized watch repairman here in my city and they do know each other, so I can ask the watch repair guy if he's ever worked on this watch before and what he thinks, and I've known him many years and trust him.

So it's been worked on by someone else apparently. I am in no hurry to go into further inspection of this one so we'll see. If I am still thinking about it in a month's time, I'll start investigating. Thanks Georges, for your guidance, most appreciated!
