indeed I think that a second look is always very useful to better understand a watch. It also happens that a watch is not initially appreciated but it proves itself to be a great keeper. I also think the Piaget sub forum is not that popular so I think some more content helps everyone to discover this wonderful brand.

Piaget Altiplano Chronograph Review after 1 year and 2 months
By: christianch : January 19th, 2018-16:34
I bought the Piaget Altiplano Chronograph in November 2016. Time flies and after the initial review it is always interesting to revisit such a great watch. In all honesty 2016 was for me a record year in terms of incomings (and this is not always a blessi...

You've done us a service by taking a second look at a watch a year later. This is the review that really counts. It tells you that a watch is a keeper or is something you will be looking to sell. And I'm happy for you that you still find this watch so att...

I agree with you. A second review after a certain time of ownership will bring more in-depth thoughts and real experiences.

For me, when you look at this watch for the very first time, you don’t see/think immediately about a Chronograph as all its distinctive elements are discreet and perfectly integrated (sub dials and pushers). It’s probably one of the most discreet and eleg...

Indeed is a consequence of the movement but I think it fits even better this way else it would have disrupted the long minutes marks that I really like. As requested here is a picture of the back The excellent review by Fx ( ) does point out some of the p...
You're absolutely right. Our hobby is mainly a matter of taste

To have more “spread” sub dials, Piaget should play with the length of the minute marks. If they were shorter, maybe that would remove a big part of the charm of this watch. Thank you for the picture by the way 😉 Best wishes Alkiro

this watch, it is beautiful, but I see no need for a chronograph on a dress watch. What at a formal or semi formal event would one be timing?? I also see no need for the chronograph on a diver's watch. Obviously my opinion matters none in the horology wor...
