Polo 45 or Polo S? Your view?

The Polo is in the meantime a pretty old and established line for Piaget - even if much of the history has been quartz and 1980s driven. And as there is a new Polo out there, I somehow started to have a look at what is there and how the new Polo S compare...

By a large margin ...

This one: By sheer coincidence, yesterday we (me and wife) visited the Boutique and I had this on my tremble hands. My wife approved but since I'm fully "booked" this year and portions of the next ... I need to wait. I continued to be amazed by the pure s...

Lucky you, Nilo :)

It seems the hardest one to find (not surprising, being limited to 500 pcs). I wish you luck and looking forward to seeing much more of it here

The Polo S is a sad watch.

Handled it a while ago and it felt cheap and ripoff-ish. If you ask me (and you did) Piaget should have never built it.

I understand your point of view

The older one feels a lot more special in many ways, I'd say. Which colour of the new ones did you try, Arie?

they just received a box from Piaget with multiple Polo S models. I had the blue one in my hands and directly lost interest for the others. So I never took pictures (maybe I should have?).

If I had to choose

I'd go for the old reference. Although it's even too big, the design was still more unique and original. The last reference with naked dial is really appealing. I had a titanium ingenieur and I love this metal, it's light and warm.

Agree fully on the titanium

Find it an excellent material for watches, very pleasant to wear, non-allergic, light... And also agree that the design has been a lot more unique

I'd go....

for the Polo S. The simple, clean look appeals to me very much. Cheers, Filip

Thanks Filip!

The first vote for the S I have to say it worked better in the metal for me, too. Still do not find it as distinctive as the 45.

Oh,

totally, it is not as distinctive as the 45 for sure but that's the beauty of it . My favorite Piaget is unsurprisingly the Emperador Coussin which, as you said, shares the case design with the Polo S. Cheers, Filip

And that gets best seen live :)

Did not appreciate this aspect before having it in my hands and before the AD pointed it out
