I don't see why 'controversy'
This is like so many watches these days, all derived from the AP RO.... that's really all there is to it, in my view.
Shrug... it's perfectly nice in silver dial... but why get one when you can get an AP or a Nautilus or Overseas?
Piaget loyalists will buy, I would guess... but it's really a variation of the same old thing, in my view.
But then major brands do need a steel bracelet 'sport watch' and so now Piaget has theirs...
Why controversy? It's all so similar to other major successes in styling... more of a 'so what' than a controversy in my view.
Hope I don't seem too dismissive. But it really is so similar to the rest... and I would presume that is absolutely deliberate.

As you've claimed everything stems from the Royal Oak, why even mention the other two? Or is it a case of double standards because of the brand names involved?
