the yearly Camera shows here in town, have had a great one dollar hot dog/hamburger in addition to great equipment to try. It was an all day event held in May just as Spring flowers were blooming. Thank you for sharing Casey Edward

Not to be missed is the annual camera trade show... so much to see. I think I will go back on Saturday to have some hands on with a particular 58mm lens ; ) There was a lot of 'accessories' on display and it seemed a little subdued from previous years... ...

I can understand why you need to go back again. That 58mm F1.4 looks very interesting and would be great for portraits I suppose. Good luck! cheers fernando
I played with the lens but didn't have my Nikon body...
the lens construction is very nice and I am sure the rendering is wonderful... but have to try it ; ) I love my Nikon 50mm f/1.2 but I want to test the Nokton 58 at the edges as a comparison.

i understand almost nothing, but some strategies are clear and close to watch brands. They could produce (and earn) more, but the quality might worsen. Always interesting.

the new Voigtlander Nokton 58 1.4 is old style Nikon construction...
and very smooth handling... the focus throw is built for manual focus
