does anyone know if all salmon dials are the same salmon color? or limited productions such as 5070 salmon dial differ from other salmon dials.

But one thing for sure is that they look very different in the flesh. Here is the picture patek sent me of my 5970 then the real thing. You can see the difference. I\'m pretty sure they are all the same colour Rose as Patek call it. I remember seeing Mr S...

And hence I am issuing a stern warning not to neglect the 5000R and the 5024G with their salmon dials.

Only seen in P & G ???

As you maybe know already, the Stern family owned a dial making company. A fellow purist explained to me that it works like in some very nice painting work (Art, furnitures etc...): there are several layers of painting or coating, using sometimes differen...

ch9698 is right and they all have the same pink / salmon color even if it looks different on pics sometimes. Actually on different pics of the same ref made by different people, they will look different color although it is not the case. But even if I own...

Thank Mike.

I guess it\'s only fair that Mr S should have a one of a kind watch. I remember seeing it on his wrist when I met him many years ago and thinking how stunning it was. I couldn\'t stop looking at it then. M.

Great on the 5124G

I not sure I like the salmon dial on a complicated watch. History or not.
