Wish Patek had more of them in the modern collection. Wearing this one made me wish that. Have a good weekend everyone....

The date on this one is particularly disruptive given the sector layout.

Center seconds and casual compared to the the 5196\'s dressiness and somewhat misplaced sub-seconds. And the +1 mm is nice for such a casual watch too. Patek, are you listening?

I couldn\'t agree more. The date is jarring here. And it would be so nice without...maybe even a sub-second at 6? Hmmm. And a cal 240 inside. I think this more \'smart casual\' segment, not quite dress and not quite sports, should be a big seller. Best E.... 

Same way for the 5711. "Jarring" --- but after actually owning it and wearing it as well as owning and wearing the 5711, I find it blends in nice in person in the flesh. We are all of course entitled to our opinion but I think the sector dial with no sub ...

I have only worn it on a leather strap, but this look is really great!
