Stunning ref

Hope you will find your way to try one!!! Look forward to updates!!!

I have a marginally larger wrist, about 6.75inches and tried both the blue and the black dial versions in the past. Both are stunning in their own way but for choice would definitely go blue. It is spectacular and unique in the strong blue enamel. The black is also a stunning piece but in a more subtle elegant way.

As for size I did not have a problem, personally I would look for a thin softer strap that better hugs the wrist though, to reduce rollover effect of sometimes stiffer exotic leathers. For me comfort and snug fit is paramount to the wearing joy. And the idea of the blue dial 5370p with a nice blue calf strap… wow wow wow now I am dreaming!!!

I have become intrigued by and smitten with the 5370P, particularly the blue enamel dial version, which I find to be spectacularly beautiful. I have seen it in person

so I am not relying on images which can be misleading. The fact that it houses an extraordinary movement and complication only adds to its appeal for me. So, you might ask “what’s the problem, other than the hefty price?”. The problem is I have a small wr...

Most Patek wears pretty compact/quite well IMO

Not a problem at all for that wrist size. Maybe check out some of Tim Mosso's videos and see how some of the watches you already own look on him VS this watch & infer from there.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did watch one of the videos, which was helpful and I enjoyed it as part of my learning more about the reference.

Still, far from convinced that its size will actually work for me. From my experience, how something looks on a wrist in a photo or video doesn’t necessarily mean it will be comfortable to wear. Eg 5905, particularly the steel bracelet version feels too b...

It makes total sense to me and thanks for the advice. I have a 5970P which is fairly large and heavy. I wear it with a custom PP strap

and it is quite comfortable for me. So maybe without thinking about it I have applied your suggestion😊

This is new info to me...

 By: mdg : February 27th, 2024-19:00
...your 5970P is listed at 40mm and 13.5mm. Really close to the 5370P. With a custom strap I think you'll be fine : )

I have both blue and black. both beautiful but if I can only haver one I prefer blk my wrist is flat on top 6.5" it sits beautifully and is not top heavy. but if your have rounded wrist perhaps it turns as it's platinum, thus heavy. I also have 5970 and 5...

Thank you for your EXTREMELY helpful reply, explanation and images!! Seems like our wrist size and wrist shape are similar.

The watches look great on your wrist! Very special to have both versions …. Congratulations!

If you can wear the 5970P, you can handle the 5370P...what is 1mm and a few grams?

Thank you. That is a fabulous and fun response!! All your points are well taken, except for me rather than wearing it to black tie events, which I

do my best to avoid, I would most likely be wearing it with a pair of blue jeans and t-shirt😂

I wear my 5370P-011 with jeans and T-shirt all the time!

The black is spectacular but way too formal for me. The blue can be dressed up or down. I spent 3 weeks in Italy with my wife recently and the blue was a perfect companion on my wrist

Why not make a trip out of it and

 By: Dauster : February 27th, 2024-00:57
go to the Geneva salon and try it on in person before spending a quarter million or so on a watch. I did try it on at the Geneva Salon and loved it. It is top heavy and the 5270 fits better imo but I also have a large wrist of 7.75 inches or so

Thank you for your great reply and excellent suggestion. After initiating the post I remembered that I have an out f town friend (a lot closer to me than

Your welcome! Or you can go to Boston

Thanks for the suggestion

Photos on my 6.5 inch wrist

 By: brandon.c : February 27th, 2024-00:57
I also have a 6.5 inch wrist, and I think it fits perfectly on my wrist. It does have heft, but I don't find it unwieldy and the size has never felt too large for my wrist. The top of my wrist is pretty flat, so depending on the shape of your wrist you ma...

Brandon, MANY thanks! That is extremely helpful especially since we both have 6 1/2” wrists and you actually own one and obviously love it.

 By: patekova : February 27th, 2024-01:34
Apparently the thickness is not an issue for you. Surprised that the strap on the next to last hole fits you perfectly and the blue hue of the strap is also a perfect match for the watch. (I usually get short/custom PP straps partly for colors that are mo...

I too share your predicament!

 By: sham1 : February 27th, 2024-01:50
This watch is lovely but it will be too large for your wrist. I have a wrist of similar measurements and I am unable to wear the 5370 or the 5270.

In that case the 5370P might be ok for you

 By: sham1 : February 27th, 2024-03:36
I am quite particular about how a watch sits on the wrist and if the lugs flare out then it would be deemed too large.

I love the 5370P and it wears perfectly for me.

 By: russell996 : February 27th, 2024-06:55
As others have said, watches on the wrist are very subjective so I think it is time and money well spent going somewhere to try the piece. If you are buying new then your AD might well organise to get a piece in to try, mine did. If going secondary then y...

The 5370 will wear a lot bigger than the 5970

 By: yming : February 27th, 2024-13:58
Lug to lug the 5970 is ~ 46mm.. 5370 is 50mm, which is definitely > what I am used to for a dress watch The thin bezel also will make the watch wear larger than it is

I have a 7.5 inch wrist…
