Having hour window on the usual date window position is actually quite convenient to read for me.

I had a brief discussion with Dave a few months back for S7. Still slightly hesitant to pull a trigger since I dream of owning VIngt8 which Dave can customize to resemble it and not sure how much it would fill that spot.

But upon seeing them in metal, 5226 does stands out among casual dress watch. Given that your collection is sporty I think 5226 could be a nice addition and not too outright dressy. On a sidenote, I do agree with Donatello on platinum traditionelle. Give them a try!
