Old!! (Grand Seiko) New and Blue (Edifice)

I know it's not a classic, but it's a damn good looking timepiece!!!

This Grand Seiko Automatic Diashock 6246 - 9001 was presented to my father by his Mess colleagues upon his retirement from the armed forces in Singapore in 1967. It has this inscription on the reverse". 'PRESENTED TO S/SGT J TAYLOR BY MEMBERS OF PM MESS NOV 67' It was bequeathed to me upon his death
