Audemars Piguet: I don't chance it...

I have a couple of Offshores which occasionally go to AP for servicing. I request a clean and de-gunk only, no polishing or refinishing. The titanium is more daily wearer and has stood up pretty well over 4+ years.

Audemars Piguet: .

Totally agree. It was the impact of seeing a ROO in the flesh that got me interested in watches in the first place. I think it was on the wrist of some hedge fund guy in 2007! Ha, Bit of a cliche looking back. hardly anyone in finance seems to want to parade a flashy watch these days in London. It\'

Yes I\'m no metallurgist but it could also be that titanium is for some reason not a suitable material for a clasp. I\'ll ping AP a message - maybe they could put the matter to rest. Surely it should be titanium. The authenticity of the watch has been checked and I'm a long time AP ROO owner so I'm pre

Audemars Piguet: Steel clasp on a 26170ti...!?

I found a 2012 26170ti recently in great condition. However I've been holding off because I noticed on close inspection that the clasp is stamped as stainless steel which I assume means that the bracelet is also SS. I'm pretty sure that the 26170ti was only offered with a titanium bracelet and that

Audemars Piguet: Great post

(Belated) some great ideas thanks. After a few years I'm in the process of swapping out my black rubberclad for a titanium grey themes which I still think is the pick of the standard models. I always found the combination of the steel case and rubber strap on the rubberclad to be a bit of a mismatch
