There's usually an option to choose a seconds disk if you prefer to do away with the full seconds hand. Highly recommend ochs und junior - my annual calendar is going in for its first (overdue) service as soon as i get off this oil rig. Bought Sep 2014... and the sturgeon strap is still going strong
As well as a new entry in the ochs und junior website, there's also more info about fday/night displays and a hand painted customised version in the thoughts area here www.ochsundjunior.swiss the case bottom and lug area is a nice looking change or option to the 'usual' also...
The top Nebra version has a seconds hand, whereas the silver version has a seconds disc - that central disc with the small indent will revolve, but no 'hand' ... entirely 'up to you', the purchaser, which you'd prefer ( i chose the seconds disc on mine). ps you can also choose whch side to have the

It's pretty small for a COSC automatic chronometer In fact it's so small the wife says she can't see the time easily enough (!) so she's ended up with a Ventura Ego 36mm, while my V-matic is 39mm ( as is my ochsundjunior annual calendar
Well, at least they decided to keep the 'min' next to the 30 there.... I mean without it, how would you know what some numbers from 0 to 60 would represent on a watch after all 😉
that would be my Urwerk of choice too... fortunately( ? ;-0 ) my wrist is not big enough (or my wallet for that matter) so my jealousy is under control... I've always preferred those original circular hour dials rather than the later pointy and more complicated versions - and the hours exposed rathe
