Hello Sukan! The 1861 movement of the FOIS (and other modern Speedies) is rated for a 48 hours power reserve when given a Full winding so...

... the problem here must be you don´t wind yours enough. 25 turns is what you usually need to start a watch with an automatic movement but the FOIS got a manual wind movement.
You should give roughly about a little more than a hundred turns to the crown till you find a resistance which tells you must stop your winding.
As the measure of "100 turns" vary from individual to individual, you should check yourself how many turns you need to reach the resistance point of your watch to stop your winding.
The FOIS is one of my favorite modern variants of the Speedmaster. I really love it! I wish you´ll enjoy yours so much!
Cheers! Abel

FOIS

I have a quick question to all out there. My FOIS needs to be winded just after 9 hours. I thought the power reserve on this watch was around 40-48 hours. I must say that I don\'t wear this all the time but when I do I give it around 25 times of winding. ...
Not sure 25 turns is enough.

Wind it fully, and then check back in 24 hours. If it is stopped, it may need a visit to a watchmaker
You need to keep winding until the crown resists

and you can't turn it anymore to wind the watch fully and get the max power reserve. My FOIS takes a lot more than 25 turns of the crown to be fully wound and it gets 50+ hours autonomy on full wind.
I did turn until

It resists and do not want to go further. I'm afraid I might damage the watch
Right.

Don't try and wind once you hit resistance. But if you are saying 25 turns is all you can make until you hit resistance, then something is wrong with the watch.
Oh no!

Let's hope that's not the case. I think it is better to bring it to Omega shop. Thank you
Don't count the turns ...

Wind it until there's resistance on the crown. If you are unsure, go to the nearest Omega Boutique or AD and they will show to you. Cheers, Nilo
Ok

I guess that's what I would do. Thank you
