Interesting watch, by all counts.
Love this textile strap.
A warm thank you to Mss. LC (the local boutique manager) and to Mr. RO (the Omega Manager) for the pictures.

It's an interesting watch with the cross-hairs and unique strap. Is the strap a black? Nice photos, by the way. M4

I believe. Cheers Nilo
Very interesting watch!

The strap is great for one - Omega has been doing interesting things in this department lately - but I also very much like the case shape, the hands and dial. The most attention went to the 60th anniversary pieces but this is actually a very likeable watc...

That is one cool strap on a cool watch

Thanks for sharing Nilo So do you like more the Trilogy set pieces with all that extra writing on dial or to have all three of them outside set and extra writing? Cheers P.S. What happened to Bodyguard? D
All the writing!!!
By: nilomis : March 28th, 2017-12:25
Seven letters "Trilogy" and three digits, is not too much. Cheers, Nilo Note: Good question. Where's The Bodyguard?
A really nice watch!

One of the few that got my attention this year, thx for these pics!!!
Thanks Nilo

This watch really caught my attention! Would you know when it will hit the stores? Would love to see it in the flesh! Best regards!
We must wait a bit..

"My Omega Boutique" informs that the Railmaster should hit the Boutique around October 2017. Additional information: The Trilogy is due for May / June. Cheers, Nilo
Nice watch!

Also reminds me of the JLC geophysic 1958
Thank you for the shots

Sorry to say, but the most appealing here is the strap. The combination of lyre lugs, candle stick anhds AND lollipop plus crosshair..... Looks like a total franken to me! Best Blomman

I hear you. Loud and clear. And I diagree with you both. The thing is....as you point out ..."it looks like a total franken". Why do I differ from you both? Beacuse its NOT a franken. Its a watch made by Omega. And because it looks tremendous fun. having ...

I'm perplexed with this fundamentalism. Omega just realized a watch, that they don't claim to be a re edition, using their design and that's it. No more, no less. If one wants a re edition, go for the Trilogy (and complain about the writing on the dial?)....
Totally with you Nilo....

.....if its an identiacal version of the original needed.....go for the original. If its a re-edition that turns you into Neo from the Matrix, go for the modern.
I understand your point, but from my POV....
By: blomman Mr Blue : March 29th, 2017-05:10
To carry the name "Railmaster" comes with a responsibility. That it is not a re-edition is not the same as "lets make something that came out of a gum ball machine"...... BUT, you might be right. Maybe I am too rusty and too intimet with the original to s...

It's fine but every other manufacturer do this "desecration", from time to time. Notice that a previous Railmaster (not rusty) had Lyre lugs. Cheers, Nilo ...
If only lyre lugs, it would have been fine....

But in combination with candle stick hands AND lollipop AND crosshair.......? There is a reason why the original lollipop did not have the broad arrow.... Balance. Best Blomman
Hate to say this, especially as . . .

. . . I've not seen the new production Rail in the metal, but after a week, I'm beginning to agree with blomman. Omega has performed admirably with the latest generation of Speedmasters. Even though they've evolved significantly, they still retain the cha...
Came very close to buying that very watch . . .

. . . seven years ago. Perfect fit, admirable aesthetics, and competent movement, not to mention harkening the original. The sole issue was my conviction that a third generation with a more identifiably manufacture movement was in the offing. Seven years ...

Please!!! This low cost (low MSRP) is for the non rusty souls. For the rusty addicts, there's the Trilogy Railmaster, also sold in separate, that offers to the fundamentalist a chance to have a traditional watch, that also shows accurate time and is METAS...

You put the finger on the spot. Out of the three in the "Holy Trinity" the Railmaster is the one that always been special. Special in the sense of "not for all", not over exploited, no compromises. The SM 300 as well as the Speedmaster has evolved over th...
I like this watch a lot.
By: M4 : March 29th, 2017-08:33
There's a grey dial version that's just as attractive or maybe even moreso. I see lots of potential for this one. M4
Not my cup of tea.

Luckily, there are many makers and models to choose from. The trick, I think, is to know what you fancy, so that when one comes along and is special to you, you are able to pull the trigger and not hesitate. Good things come to those who are patient, and ...
Always good to get different views....

Like the summary from Blomman. The addition of the cross hair is just pushing this over the edge for my liking. I have to say that I\'m really taken with the watch strap though. Very stylish.
