What's your opinion on Pam654?
Getting a little bored with the typical looks of Panerai, I am quite attracted by the new one Pam654. It is a bit like the Pam518 release several years ago. This one got a crown. Busy looking dial, and somehow reminds me of IWC Portugieser, but better looks LOL.

If you're bored with the Panerai look, why bother buying a Panerai that looks like something else? Why not buying...something else...directly?

Well, when I said "bored", it all because for a while they didn't come out exciting pieces. Repeating the same elements over and over. (685 and 687 were exceptions). LOL So, the questions is what you think of 654?
What do I think?....
I think that, if you point a gun between my eyes and tell me: "Buy a PAM654", I would smile and tell you to...shoot!

I think the black dial version should fare better in the long term...white with the ecu markers...just don't do it...
Truth be said....
at this point in time, if I wanted a..complicated..model (instead of a no-nonsense Panerai) I would buy another brand altogether. Twenty years down the road, maybe, I would be the first in line to buy a complicated Panerai. Nothing persona...
