... from JLC. I mean as you said, in the 5-15 K€ range, the "rounds" are only automatic. I guess that in this area the "automatic" function is something considered as a +, particularly when you compare to other brands (like Omega or IWC for example).
I learned quite not long ago that Reversos in this price range were only manual winding (except for Squadras I think). I always thought they were automatic.
Thus in my mind I tought "well, the Reverso is a classic dress watch, so it goes with the manual". Maybe a marketing pollution of my mind but that is how I felt at that time.
Usually you see Manual winding in high-end watches, to have a better overview of the caliber's finishing, whithout implying a too thick and heavy watch.
That is why, to me, it feels like weird to have a manual winding 5-15 K€ JLC watch.
But objectively, I don't see what could be wrong and I guess that a manual winding watch in this range, nicely decorated (it has to have a saphire back, otherwise I won't see the point) could be a good idea. I guess you were thinking about a Master control base, that would be a good extra model.
