New Reversos
Hi All
Trip to London recently & while watches weren't the main agenda- they're always on the menu.
Had a look at a couple of Reversos- on retailer specific, but also another look at the tribute to Duo Reverso
First the retailer specific one - really like the blue dial & pretty good on size too.
tribute to Duo - lots to like, but after former felt quite small. Which is something I never get with mine. I need to compare it in size to the original.

On visiting the Duo again I noticed something that hadn't seen before. While it's obvious on its larger brother the Reverso calendar- it's also present on the Duo too. Hopefully you can see from shot above is the shaping of the lugs, so the back of the Reverso/carriage isn't completely flat.
Can understand for its larger sibling, not so sure this needs it.
I also realised after I should have gone from small to large & not the other way round, makes making judgments that much harder!

The Watch Gallery edition Reverso looks great I had an email from them about it but I've not been to see it in person
JML, the Tribute Duo is just a marvel. I am used to different sizes, so it is not an issue for me.
But it is true that you should have maybe started by the Tribute Duo. The size is perfect for me, I must say. A true jewel, which is very high in my list. Best, Nicolas
Mainly I think wrong order
As I have smaller watches, was wearing a Seiko 5 & they're not renowned for being oversized! What really stood out was that the lugs are shaped & there isn't a flat back like most other Reversos, something I hadn't picked up last year when i first saw it....
The benefit of more experience & knowledge!
Hadn't realised that they'd done this before as hadn't encountered it. More importantly I hadn't noticed on the first time that I'd look at the watch. Must pay more attention! Cheers JML
