Lecoultre and Jaeger Lecoultre Deep Sea Alarm. The Rare Duo.

Feb 26, 2017,02:40 AM

How many are lucky enough to be able to post a side by side picture of the Lecoultre and Jaeger Lecoultre Deep Sea Alarm?

I feel it is a great privilege to own these 2 watches which I consider as my favorites in the Vintage JLC Universe.

Everything here is great: The case, the dial, the case back. And the fact that it is the first alarm diving watch.

Ok, the bezel doesn't turn, but it has its alarm to inform the diver about the elapsed diving time, even if you'd better be prudent as it is not precise to the minute...

The last point is to know which one I prefer. A tough point, as I am totally unable to tell you which is my favorite.

The US is maybe more macho, the European more elegant, but who cares?

When you are lucky enough to own these 2, you really don't care.

Best,

Nicolas
