Jaeger-Lecoultre Reverso Platinum Tourbillon Skeleton LE of 35 pieces ( 2004 ).

In my opinion, one of if not THE finest Reverso ever made.

GT platinum case, hence ideal dimensions for a watch of this kind, a tourbillon which is perfectly integrated in the dial, a sapphire cabochon on the top of the crown, a modern interpretation / execution of the skeleton, very aerial, not rococo nor too busy.

The verso is very nice, too:

You turn its back to Time, not to Beauty.

Each time I go to the Manufacture, I ask the Heritage Gallery to let me play with it, and to take picture of that one... At the point they are always surprised.

Best,

Nicolas

Thanks Nico. I really like the watch you show here. The style of skeletonization has a period feel to it. Even though is a modern style but cannot mistake it from today skeleton watch.

Simply one of the very best.

With stunning proportions and size which is not always the case with the complicated Reversos. The skeleton design is clearly designed by someone with a sense of “musicality”.
