Hi all. With super respect for Nicolas I must say that his pictures of the Reverso 101 do not give the true revelation that seeing it in the metal does.

Saw the Reverso 101 today.
It is so far and above the expectation.

The movement is incredible.
It is nicely and finely engraved. Much more then I expected. Actually hadn't expected the engraving and was so impressed. Didn't get a detailed enough picture to show the engraving. The movement is fixed into place by a screw and the part of movement that attaches to the crown on the back.

The magical and totally trick feature of the watch is the winding and setting of it. To do that one has to unwind and then remove the crown from where it is kept on the side of the case. It then clicks into place in the back and then can wind the movement and set the watch. Totally unique.

The bezel on the inside of the case is mother of pearl. The design on the internal portion of the watch is MOP and black ( didn't ask what material it is but suspect some stone material. It is the perfect example of Art Deco.

5 pieces of this model were made so this is a true rarity in the extreme.

I always wondered what the crown at the side actually "does", now I know! Regards, skyeriding

The hook was bated by the sheer uniqueness of the piece. The hook was then floated past me with the idea of such a limited series with no chance of any further "models" or iterations or editions. The hook was implanted today when I finally saw it in the m...

Very educational thread

The only pics I'd ever seen of this Reverso had been rather small and only of the front so I'd assumed that the watch was wound conventionally by a series of bevelled gears and that the middle black line between the movement and the '6 position' was part ...

The one I am considering is in HK until 8th and then it is being sent elsewhere so I have a time limit to decide!

I canonly imagine how spectacular this is, up close.
