Just in time or a bit late...?

Mar 11, 2015,14:14 PM

Hi, Nicolas.

Thank you very much for sharing fantastic photos and info of Geophysic(s) with us.
I like the originals very much but so far have had no opportunities to meet them yet.
Maybe, one day my time will come. smile

Well, on the other hand, I enjoy the wonderful partner here on my wrist.
My TT works quite well with me and I love the feeling so much.
The sound of the Rotor makes me smile smile as well.
Although at first it was a surprise to know that TT would carry an automatic movement, I am happy with the outcome.

I would say that the next move would be looking at some strap options.

Here, a few quick shots…

Best regards,
T-suke

You have to know that I was not that convinced by the first pictures I saw at my AD; but seeing it in the flesh several months later really did the job. Funny thing is that I keep wondering why this watch is so special. Can't point to any specific detail;...

I am not sure it is easier to find a platinum TT Geophysic than a vintage. ;)

... The vintage JLC Geo got all the charm only a true vintage watch can offer ... but as difficult and most possible out of my budget the original is, I opted for the Tribute as soon as I knew about its launching during the first months of last year 2014....

Thank you so much for attending the Roll Call, Amigo.

Superbly played! The Crosshairs dial, you have to get used to it to understand, accept, then fully enjoy it. I thikn the first reaction is to go for the " normal " one. But after a while, the Crosshairs is more than a second choice. Much more. Gracias, Am...

By: amanico : March 11th, 2015-23:40
I find this is one of the coolest combination for this Watch. I would like to see if it will not be too thick, in Canvas, or if a conventional canvas strap woud not better do the job. Really curious. Yes, please, add some pictures of yours here! Best, And...

The " Sputnik " box and the famous warranty.

By: amanico : March 14th, 2015-00:14
Let's remind that the Sputnik box was quite unique, as they were given with the Geophysic offered to the 2 Commanders of the USS Skate and Nautilus, in 1958. Other than that, I am not aware of other boxes issued for the Geophyics. ...

That is the interest of this Roll Call. We rarely see one, so...
