Urban Jurgensen makes great watches with lovely movements and an exquisite dial finish. You can actually go into you tube to see how the dials are made which I found quite fascinating. In fact I believe Urban Jurgensen (UJ) has a few clips on its wensite ... 

I\'ve been thinking about UJ&S as well. The execution of the guilloche dials and hands are very handsome

And many may not be aware that until the last few years, Jean-Francois Mojon and Kari Voutilainen were very much involved with the brand and we are all aware that these two watchmakers are masters respectively in devising movements and exquisite finishing... 

Look close enough and some UJ models almost look like they could have come out of KVs ateliers. Great guilloche and hands as well as movements. But concur, that it\'s a small brand with some headwinds and lacking good marketing.

If you ask UJ who copied who they merely point out that there reference was produced first implying KV copied them. Still like to get one at some stage

Kari's input during his association with Urban Jurgensen has everything to do with the hands and dial at UJ.

Just when the UJ series 2 was launched in 1990 KV I think wasn't even at Parmigiani and only become independent in 2002 some 12 years later!! Observatory hands and lugs are key and obviously guilloche ...
