There are many more knowledgeable folks in the community and on the moderator team from whom I learn from.

Just an average Joe trying to share his experiences...Anyone can do it!

A 12 month review of Peter Speake-Marin's Piccadilly

Almost a nonexistent part of the horological landscape just a few years ago, the popularity of independent watchmakers is skyrocketing and so is the amount of money devoted to the purchase their unique timepieces. Three factors account for this amazing tu...

Peter's philosophy is admirable

His watch is constructed for reliability and durability while displaying top-notch finish. I still find his watch cases much too thick, but his Shimoda with its one hand is a very attractive watch. Thanks for the review Mike! - SJX

Great review Michael. Had a fun time reading it!

I like how you've incorporated the comparison tests between your other ETA 2824 watch. Gives the report a nice twist and something different than the usual reviews. I can't wait to see Peter Speake-Marin again at the upcoming Oct 8th PuristSPro event. I'm...

that I won't be tired of reading it over and over again. Thanks for sharing it ! I am a fan of Peter's style and also happen to like the frosted dial Piccadilly very much. In fact, I had decided my first Piccadilly would have that exquisite frosted dial, ...

That's the purpose...I hope one day you can add your experience to the database as well

Thanks for the in depth review. So I see there is no accounting for taste; I always thought that the lugs were the best part of PSM's cases Don

Well done

Great job, Mike. Coincidentally, I had the pleasure of checking out a number of PSMs last week. The 38mm Piccadilly is the one that caught my eye. I'd gone to the AD wearing my 45mm PAM, and was totally surprised the 38mm Piccadilly wore just about as lar...

I think there will be a bunch of us Bay Area purists there on Fri and Sat. I'm really excited about the event...It's always a great joy and honor to spend time with Peter and the other impressive independents. I was at the event last year and had a wonder...

Enjoy....Great coverage!
