The Indie spectrum of watchcollecting taken as a whole, has as many complications, if not more, then most brands, even big brands. Below, Ludovic Ballouard UpSide Down watch, modified from a vintage Peseuax 7001 movement. whimsical like its creator....Hou...

How is it with legibility? Do you get used to it quickly?
You will need about an hour or two to adjust

Thanks for sharing.

You are of course right about the legibility. It's interesting to hear from the owner's perspective.
You are welcomed

I am a well known fan of the Indies and what I love most with them (apart from their watches and their gorgeous finishing) is the contact with the artist / creator / watchmaker. They are all so accessible and friendly it makes all the difference vs the us...

Three beauties, each with their own unique characteristics. Personally my preferences lie with the Up/Down (whimsical charm!) and the Gronefeld (steampunk HH). Very much looking forward to more pics and thoughts!

The back side is really stunning, I always say you should wear it upside down. The workmanship of the Gronefeld Remontoire is off the charts and the brothers are great to work with.
