So, a quick update on the accident I had with my Black Magic.
And, it's good news, for once. Apparently, my clumsiness has managed not to dent (pun intended) my wallet too much.
As andrewluff correctly (thank you for giving me hope) wrote, only the piece between the lugs was chipped. Now, to me, the piece looks integrated into the housing, so I was really afraid. But, of course, andrewluff has forgotten more about these things than I will ever learn.
There was no damage to the mechanism from the impact.
They quoted a reasonable price and up to 5 weeks for repairs, meaning they wouldn't even need to send it to Switzerland.
So now I wait. And thank whichever god protects fools.

Being left handed (that's equals to clumsy), I'm very accident prone. Since I have several ceramic cased watches, I'm extra careful to avoid (the unavoidable) this type of disaster. Great news, about your watch. Cheers, Nilo

Fortunately it appears to just be the lug shroud that broke and not the lugs/case. Easy fix. Glad things are working out well. Please be sure to share a fresh pic when you get her back!

Especially here, in Russia, I expected them to tell me the mechanism and the case had to be changed and they will charge me $$$. Good to know there is some honesty left.

Everyone has an accident here and there. It seems your misfortune created one of the longest threads we have ever seen on the Hublot forum, sort of a sad commentary! But I will look forward to seeing the watch fixed, at a fair expense.
