Trip to the National Watch and Clock Museum

Apr 14, 2024,20:33 PM

This place is in Pennsylvania, USA, in a small town.

The place is amazing and totally worthwhile looking out if you are in the area (which is aside from this full of interesting spots).

Anyways l figure to share some pictures (not great pictures).

I was blown away with the amount of horological history this place has.

. . . with us. I was going to visit the museum in '07 but bad weather made us change our plans that day. Appreciatively, Art

Great post, cool day out!

I loved that clock tower mechanism because of the historical importance. There was the Engle Clock which is fantastic and unique. On more normal watches, I really liked the Patek and the Lange pocket watches. Ah yes a Breguet was also there

Excellent pictorial!

Something else located nearby is RGM. And the area was also home to Hamilton and other American makers. It seems like an area of high horological significance. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Thanks for all the photos...
