Your treatment by the JLC boutique sounds terrible but don't expect better service from Patek.
There's plenty of examples on the forum where the Patek attitude to customers has rubbed many up the wrong way. Imagine being treated as if you're lucky to be a customer and you get the idea. Warranty issues? Expect to wait months with your watch in Geneva and then don't be surprised if the required work hasn't been performed and it has to go back, posisbly several times.
I had similar issues to yours with Patek's standards of quality control and I was left very unhappy about the overall service I received (even though my local AD was pretty good). I am left feeling like I've been taken for a fool.
It is especially galling as I had a warranty issue with a Rolex that was resolved in 2 weeks with most of that time spent running the timing tests.
I'll be selling up and moving to VC or Lange.

if I were you, I would take a step back and do this if I were absolutely right... Meaning, that you want to sell them for the right reasons for you, whatever they are... You know best.... As far as the question of size, PP watches are smaller than the JLC...

Hi Marc, My advice is to go slow, particularly if you are contemplating this change because of a grievance with the company. These annoyances are often short-lived and can be resolved with effective communication. And you are planning a big change from sp...
